Git, search, and code intelligence execute locally in a browser-native runtime — no install, no desktop app.

GitHub & GitLab as the backend
faundry talks to your forge directly. It is a transit-only proxy: requests pass through, nothing is stored.

Nothing on our servers
Your repositories, diffs, and indexes are processed on your machine and never transmitted to faundry.
Privacy by design — not a footnote
Your repositories never pass through or are stored on faundry's infrastructure.
- Data minimization (GDPR Art. 25). Source code, diffs, prompts, indexes, and embeddings are processed locally and never transmitted to faundry. Drafts are encrypted at rest on your device.
- What our servers do store. Only account and licensing data, and — if you opt into Pro sync — encrypted, non-code settings and review drafts. Never your code.
- Optional AI, on your terms. AI log analysis sends data to an endpoint you supply, in memory only, with explicit consent — never through faundry.

Open by default
The complete review-and-ship experience is open source — unlimited repos, GitHub and GitLab, offline, local Git, search, and intelligence, with local encryption. Transparent, auditable, no lock-in. Some components (the local storage core) are source-available rather than open; we'll state exactly which is which when the repository goes public. Pro and Enterprise add optional cloud sync and managed compliance — pricing to be announced.
